ATHOS Duvet Cover
Regular price $2,150.00ATHOS – Embroidered Duvet Cover
Athos bears the name of Federico's father, a man whose vision transformed the way our family understood the art of the bed.
Among the first to introduce jacquard weaving to bed linen, he believed that the time we spend in bed — nearly a third of our lives — deserved the same consideration and attention to beauty as every other part of our home.
The Athos embroidery pays tribute to his refined eye and instinct for innovation. Its confident, graceful lines lend a quiet distinction to the bed, expressing a sense of balance, heritage and timeless elegance.
Woven in Italy and crafted in Tuscany, our signature Puro cotton percale is crisp, cool and exceptionally light. Its smooth, fresh hand becomes softer with time, while preserving the composed elegance of beautifully made bed linen.
For those seeking an even more refined expression, Athos may also be created in Privé, our finest cotton percale, upon private request.
Finished with delicate hemstitch detailing, the duvet cover is completed with an elegant concealed zipper, discreetly integrated into the design.
As with every Verderoccia creation, each detail reflects generations of knowledge, exceptional craftsmanship and our family's enduring dedication to fine Italian textiles.
Each duvet cover is made to order by our artisans in Tuscany, with the possibility of personalising the dimensions, embroidery and finishing according to your needs.
For bespoke requests or a private consultation, our team would be delighted to assist you at our Park Avenue boutique or Florence atelier, by telephone at +1 646 223 0858 or by email at atelier@verderoccia.com.

Do not use bleach or whiteners.
Wash dark colors separately.
Tumble dry medium. Remove promptly from the dryer.
Iron while damp.
Terry towels should not be over dried.
If outside care is preferred, linens should be laundered, not dry cleaned.
LINEN:
Machine wash warm using mild detergent, on a delicate cycle.
Do not use bleach or whiteners.
Tumble dry low for 3-4 minutes.
Iron while very damp.
CASHMERE and WOOL:
Dry clean only
A little family tip:
To iron embroidery, invert the embroidery on top of 3- 4 layers of terry cloth and iron on the wrong side.
Once a month, a glass of white vinegar added to the wash cycle will remove rust and calcium build up.
To avoid rust, keep the washing machine lid open when not in use.
